| Description: | Peter Berton lectures and performs on "The Gerre Hancock Legacy - the Art of Improvisation". Peter Berton was an assistant to Dr. Hancock, and is now Organist-Choirmaster of St. John the Evangelist Church in Newport and Founding Director of the Choir School of Newport He has transcribed and edited several of Hancock's famous hymn improvisations (which he will perform and are being published shortly by Paraclete Press) |
