| Description: | On Sunday, September 7, internationally known concert organist David Briggs will perform at Our Lady of Hope Parish, Ipswich, MA. The concert begins at 3:00 p.m. The organ at Our Lady of Hope Parish is a recently installed Ahlborn-Galanti organ in combination with 8 ranks of windblown pipes. Mr. Briggs will perform works by J S Bach, Franz Liszt, Widor, Herbert Howells, Maurice Duruflé and an improvisation on a theme submitted by a member of the audience. David Briggs has built a world-wide reputation as an innovative musician and dazzling performer. Increasingly sought after for his orchestral transcriptions and his art of improvisation, his performances are known for their musicality, virtuosity and ability to excite and engage audiences of all ages.
