| Description: | We remember today the birth of Elizabeth Cecilia Curtis Douglas Clephane, who was born 175 years ago. In her short 39 years of life she worked for the poor and wrote poems but all were published posthumously. Among her titles are Beneath the cross of Jesus and The ninety and nine, made famous by Ira Sankey. |
