| Description: | 125 years ago on November 13 Herbert Buffum was born in 1879.. He made it into Ripley's Believe it or Not for writing twelve hymn in one hour. He is the author of "When I Take My Vacation in Heaven." (If you can find these words let me know!) He was considered the King of the Gospel hymn, writing more than 10,000 of them. He died in 1939 and is buried in Valhala Memorial Park in Los Angeles. |
