| Description: | August 1 is the 225th anniversay of the birth of Francis Scott Key. He is most well know for writing the words that became our national anthem, but also wrote "Before the Lord We Bow" and "Lord, With Glowing Heart I'd Praise Thee." He also served on the committee preparing the Protestant Episcopal hymnal. |
